1. Return of the Jedi
2. Fight Club. Disturbing.
3. I didn't know until I accidentally moused over the image and SAW THE TITLE. You shouldn't name your images with the answer, people who use firefox might see.
4. Brokeback Mountain
5. Ha - confirmed that my guess was right by mousing over! Reservoir dogs!
6. Dead Poets Society
7. ?
8. ?
9. ?
10. Interview with a vampire

-------------------------
After mousing over to check my answers, I'm pleased to see that the only ones I didn't know are movies I haven't seen, except Scarface, which I saw and wouldn't have guessed. My guess on Reservoir Dogs was gonna be a big guess, based more on an Itchy and Scratchy reference to that movie than on remembering specifics.

Haha yea that was a great Itchy and Scratchy...Thank you for the heads up I will stop naming them by their titles. Let's hope no one resorts to cheating...considering the winner gets absolutely nothing but respect, and even that is suspect.

6. Dead Poets Society

11. Your birthday is around Halloween, so my guess is a scary movie. One of the Halloween movies maybe? Obviously not the first one, since you are younger than me, I think by 2 years (I was born in '80, so you were probably '82...) Anyone have any ideas as to what was released in October of '82? I honestly do not remember, I was 2.

I just realized the mouse over thing, at least now I do not have to wait to find out #9. That was the only that was bothering me.

I'm pretty mad I didn't get Fight Club. I guess I haven't seen it enough.

Okay all we need is Ryan. I tacked on two bonus weeks at the end of the top 100 for honorable mention movies, that each person can use to make up for a week they missed or had a bad score on. That means I will take the top 10 scores out of 12 quizzes. Maybe I'll actually come up with a worthwhile prize by the end of the year...

btw, here is a link for movie quizzes with standings. They are super hard but it's something to do...

1.Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
2.Fight Club
3.Say alo to my lil friend. It's scarface, but I have to say I had a roommate that completely ruined this movie for me, when him and his friend got high and quoted it for 23 days straight...yes, 23.
4.Brokeback Mountain...i wasn't that impressed with Ledgers Joker, though it was the best villain i've seen in a comic book movie so far.
5.Reservoir Dogs...Isn't the undercover cop in this movie the same dude that plays the english rapist in the scottish movie Rob Roy...it's not really a scottish movie it's just set in scotland.
6.Not sure...it looks like the agents from Men In Black rioting.
7.No Idea
8.Leaaaavviiinnnnggggg Las Vegas!
9.Either Lost in translation or Prestige...I'm leaning towards LIT
10.The story of Mozart, Amadaus...You're not going to believe me, but my brother owns this movie and made me watch it, and I was glad he did...great film.

Who's going to get that bonus question...I object to quizzers either making the quiz about themselves or making a question almost seem relevant with the alloted theme...I'm going to guess some kind of Halloween movie, perhaps one without Jamie Lee Curtis...and I mean the film series Halloween, not just a movie about halloween.

Kern...be a cry baby. "I object." To what? We could make a quiz about your gayness. Although, you would probably get an 89%.

And, I'm not sure what sure what you are saying here, Heath's Brokeback performance was better than his Joker?

I just watch the Dark Knight again, and his performance was pretty much the closest thing to the comic character that any actor has ever come. Yes, much better than Jack Nicholson.

Actually I don't recall saying anything about Ledgers performance in Brokeback being better than his characterization of the joker in the Dark Knight. I'm glad you enjoyed his portrayal of the character and it was as close as any actor has come to the character. I just wasn't overly impressed is all, maybe it was because everyone over-hyped it before i saw it. I didn't get to see the movie until it was out for about a month, so maybe that was why.

Also, I enjoy whenever you want to come up with some sort of insult against me, you always imply "gayness"...very creative. No wonder you and Dunkin always got along so well. I've always expected more from you. Maybe it's your elevated IQ, or your lack of compassion for morons I've bared witness to over the years that more is expected of you. I believe in your creativeness for insults, you're very good at it, but "gayness"?? Come on, you can do better than that.

J Offord said...

I will not have this on my quizzes! Kearney, everyone gets called "gay". True, it has been overused in your case, but I don't believe Josh was singling you out...

And Ledger was good in Dark Knight, but I agree with Kern. I didn't see it for a month or two after it came out to avoid having to get there an hour early to not have to sit in the front row...but he still was the best part of the movie and was thoroughly enjoyable. It's too bad they said him getting into that role is what led him into such depression...only Daniel Day Lewis can compare with that in terms of becoming the character he's playing...

Congrats to Kearney for being the only one to get #8, and I don't really care that you don't like my bonus questions...but I will try to make them more relate-able to everyone.

Ngewo said...

Kern...I apologize. I try not to get too clever with my insults because I am afraid you will not get them.

Also, when naming Brokeback Mountain, you immediately talk about the Joker. I understand your brain does not understand segues, but you have to help the rest of us out. We have trouble deciphering what you are talking about.

It was Heath Ledger how is that not an appropriate segue...my bad dawg. I'll will keep em all more simpler n'at with english spoken good richard cranium. Oh BTW...anyone intested in a ski trip around mid february sometime?

"I'll will keep em all more simpler n'at with english spoken good richard cranium."

Josh, "I'll will" is what you say to the dentist after he injects novocaine into your mouth and says, "Make sure you continue flossing every day."
