It's Time to Get Pey'ed
So for anyone who doesn't check sports news every 14 seconds, here are the results of the 2008 NFL MVP race. Perhaps more shocking than Peyton's 3rd win, is the #2 vote getter. Chad Pennington?! Really?!?! Over All-Day Peterson?!?! Come on...Anyway, congrats to Manning and to the 40% who predicted he'd win in our poll.

I wouldn't call Peyton's win shocking. He orchestrated the turnaround of an underwhelming team into a powerhouse - culminating in a 9 game streak including wins over New England, Pittsburgh, San Diego, and Tennessee.
I can even see Chad getting his votes. No one expected the Dolphins to be as good as they were. And to win the division? Some people would've considered that blasphemy in the preseason.
Meanwhile, Peterson was in a division with the worst team in football history, an up-and-down Bears squad, and a lackluster Packers team. He's still the top dog, though. Maybe if he had more touchdowns.
Well I didn't exactly mean to say Peyton's was shocking, just that Pennington's was. I mean, did you see the way Chad played against the Ravens? He is terrible, and in no way was he even the MVP of the Dolphins...
