Slow Week at the Pancake

I'll be posting my March Baseball Rankings tomorrow, just wanted to note that the Pirates won, yet again, this time off of an Andy LaRoche 2-Run HR. Not surprisingly, Gorzo struggled throwing only 15 of 35 strikes. On the bright side, the bullpen pitched 7 strong scoreless innings, with Bootcheck, Hansen, and Meek again shining brightly.

Thank you Wikipedia for this little doozie:

"In the 1960 World Series, Mazeroski clinched the title for Pittsburgh with a game-winning home run off New York Yankees pitcher Ralph Terry. The 13-year-old fan who caught the ball traded it to Mazeroski for two cases of beer, after which the ball was placed in the Hall of Fame." Classic.
